Rachel joined Shekter Dychtenberg LLP in 2018 after working at a mid-sized personal injury firm in Toronto. She obtained her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Queen’s University in 2014, and was called to the Ontario bar in the summer of 2015. Rachel had the opportunity to study abroad though a law school exchange at the University of Hong Kong in 2013.
Rachel has experience acting for her clients on a wide range of cases, including motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, long term disability, occupiers’ liability, and medical malpractice. She is a zealous advocate for her clients, and has appeared before the License Appeal Tribunal, the Social Security Tribunal, and the Superior Court of Justice.
In addition to her work, Rachel volunteers for her community through a number of organizations, including the Refugee Sponsorship Support Program. She is a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, and has worked with the MPP Action Committee to educate government representatives about the plight of accident victims in Ontario.
